Please send submissions for the series to: wydawnictwo@uksw.edu.pl<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n A series published by the Institute of Legal Sciences at Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw, focusing on legal issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Archaeologica Hereditas series of scholarly monographs was launched in 2012 on the initiative of Prof. Zbigniew Kobyli\u0144ski, Ph.D., then director of the Institute of Archaeology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw. Initially, it was published in collaboration with the Archaeological Foundation in Zielona G\u00f3ra and other institutions, and since 2019 it has been published by the UKSW Academic Press. The series presents the results of scientific research conducted by the UKSW Institute of Archaeology, as well as the outcomes of academic conferences organized by the Institute. The series addresses topics related to archaeology, including in particular the methodology of non-destructive archaeological research, as well as the preservation of monuments and the management of cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series includes publications devoted to Italian literature, Italian culture, and the works of Italian authors. It features books representing various humanities genres, including studies, essays, and monographs on Italian culture and thought, publications related to the Italian musical and operatic traditions, and texts at the intersection of literature, history, and cultural studies. The series thus focuses on promoting Italy\u2019s literary and cultural heritage by providing Polish readers with valuable academic studies and translations on Italian topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series is a publishing project accompanying the journal \u201cZa\u0142\u0105cznik Kulturoznawczy,\u201d managed by the journal\u2019s editorial board. It publishes studies in the fields of cultural and religious studies, focusing particularly on contemporary changes in textuality, research on audiovisual culture, and analyses and interpretations of cultural phenomena of an interdisciplinary nature. The series features monographs and anthologies devoted to various areas of cultural studies. Publications in the series are characterized by interdisciplinarity, a strong grounding in the latest trends in the humanities, and openness to diverse methodological perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n A publication series established by the Faculty of Humanities. Its purpose is to publish scholarly works related to research on Old Polish literature and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Biela\u0144skie Prace J\u0119zykoznawcze is a continuation of the series Prace J\u0119zykoznawcze Instytutu Filologii Polskiej UKSW, dedicated to linguistic research. The series publishes studies on the analysis of writers\u2019 language, lexical, grammatical, and stylistic issues, as well as thematic studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series includes publications in the fields of pedagogy, education, and the philosophy of education. The series features monographs devoted to topics such as morality in education, anthroposophy and spirituality in education, as well as the philosophical foundations of thinking about humanity and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series includes philosophical, philological, and historical works focusing on ancient, patristic, and humanistic traditions. It features studies on ancient and medieval thought, editions and analyses of ancient rhetorical speeches, and works devoted to Middle Platonism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The series thus presents texts with a profound humanistic focus, grounded in classical sources and intellectual traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series features publications devoted to pivotal moments in culture, literature, and humanistic thought at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The volumes in the series focus on the analysis of cultural transformations, the legacy of modernism, and shifts in artistic and intellectual identity, highlighting various aspects of the modernist experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n A multi-volume series of translations of works by early Christian authors, published since 1969, covering texts written in Greek, Latin, and other ancient languages. The publications contain Polish translations of Christian antiquity sources, preceded by extensive introductions and accompanied by scholarly commentaries. The series is one of the most important Polish patristic projects, and its volumes are currently published by the UKSW Publishing House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series features scholarly publications devoted to the analysis of contemporary cultural texts, with a particular focus on intermedia relations, semiotic models of description, and comparative interpretive categories. The volumes in the series present interdisciplinary studies of phenomena in multimedia and hybrid culture, including categories such as speed, weight and lightness, transparency, and magnification and intensification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series comprises scholarly publications devoted to issues in the literature and culture of the Romantic era, with a particular focus on Polish and European works. The series features analytical and editorial studies on topics such as the reception of Mickiewicz and the aesthetics of Norwid, which represent a significant contribution to Romanticism studies. The series is currently on hiatus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series presents interdisciplinary studies in the history of artistic culture, covering, among other topics, decorative arts, design, costume studies, arts and crafts, collecting, and museology. The published volumes feature analyses of objects, artistic and aesthetic practices, as well as studies on the history of objects and their functions in culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The series was launched in 2021 at the Institute of History at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University (UKSW) as a forum for presenting the research of young historians. It publishes scholarly works on the history of Mazovia within a broad European context, as well as studies in general history, without chronological or geographical limitations. The volumes in the series feature texts analyzing, among other topics, cultural memory, state-Church relations, the civilizational contexts of wars, as well as studies ranging from antiquity to the regional history of Central Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series publishes interdisciplinary scholarly studies on the relationship between Polish and Bulgarian culture, covering topics in literary studies, cultural studies, and linguistics. The volumes present analyses of selected phenomena and texts from both cultures, highlighting their mutual connections, influences, and dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series brings together scholarly studies on the theory and practice of poetry translation, focusing on issues such as the translation of poetic form, the relationship between form and meaning, and the creative role of the translator in the process of negotiating meaning and imagination between two languages. The published volumes contain translation studies, comparative studies, and reflections on the translation of poetry, covering, among other things, the interpretation of metaphors, formal structures, issues of formal invariance, and examples of specific poetry translations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series presents works devoted to Poland\u2019s recent history, particularly those areas that have been little studied or overlooked until now. It features studies by young researchers\u2014often the best master\u2019s and doctoral theses from the Institute of History at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University\u2014on topics including Poland\u2019s experiences in the 20th century, the activities of the opposition, the security services, and independence movements, as well as biographies of individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the cause of freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This series features scholarly publications devoted to research on intercultural and interreligious dialogue, the analysis of relations between cultures, as well as issues of dialogism, polylogues, and intercultural philosophy. The volumes in the series address topics such as Polish-Italian cultural relations, the presence of Polish culture in a global context, and contemporary models of understanding interculturality.
