The Rev. Tadeusz Dajczer (1931–2009) was a professor of theological sciences, a leading expert of Catholic religious studies in Poland, specialising in the phenomenology of religion. This remarkable academic was primarily a man of spiritual life, a sought-after confessor and spiritual guide. He co-founded the Families-of-Nazareth Movement, leaving a body of spiritual writings that continue to inspire, alongside his notable body of scholarly work.
A Man Who Followed God Completely is the first biography portraying not only Fr. Dajczer the man, but also his life’s work and the memorable legacy he created, based on source materials and reminiscences of those who witnessed his life.
Fr. Tadeusz Dajczer was a noted and outstanding professor, spiritual director and, primarily, a man who, throughout his life, guided others on their way to salvation.

This book offers excellent introduction to the academic, scholarly as well as pastoral activities of the Rev. Prof. Tadeusz Dajczer. Of special value are the numerous quotations from those who reminisce about him and from his books, along with interesting reminiscences from his fellow students at a theological seminary. All in all, an attractive, neatly written book.

This biography shows a number of details from Fr. Dajczer’s life, some of them not widely known – one of them being his trip to San Giovanni Rotondo and the encounter with Padre Pio. […] Two of the three authors knew this priest and academic in person and had long-term contact with him in diverse aspects of life. […] Valuable and greatly welcomed, this book explains the uniqueness of Fr. Dajczer, the man and his life.                                                                                                                                      The Rev. Prof. Robert Ptaszek, PhD, Catholic University of Lublin
This important biography does not shun from describing the priest’s relations with the Security Service, i.e. the communist secret police, shedding light on their complexity – and, potentially encouraging a broader discussion on the research methodology used by Polish historians in this particular respect.
