The publisher may make selected publications available under an open access model. In the case of Open Access, publications are marked with a license and reuse terms on the publication page and within the files.
The UKSW journal platform operates under the Open Access model by design. Each journal is marked with the appropriate CC license symbol.
Open Access for Journals
The publishing policy of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (UKSW) regarding the journals it publishes is based on the Libre Open Access standard. This means that all articles published in journals issued by UKSW are freely available, i.e., they are immediately and freely accessible for reading, downloading, and sharing. Articles published in accordance with Libre Open Access standards may be posted on any website, used for lectures, and placed in so-called reading rooms without the need to obtain permission from the author or publisher. However, proper attribution to the author and the license must always be provided.
The copyright policy for materials published in journals issued by UKSW is as follows:
- Authors retain the copyright to their published materials.
- Articles published in journals issued by UKSW are subject to the terms of the Creative Commons CC BY-ND 4.0 International license, which permits:
- sharing—copying and distributing works in any medium and format;
- for any purpose, including commercial use.
- Under the following conditions:
- attribution – the work must be properly attributed, a link to the license must be provided, and any changes made to it must be indicated;
- this may be done in any reasonable manner, provided it does not imply that the licensor endorses the person making the changes or the manner in which the work is used;
- no derivative works – when remixing, adapting, or building upon the work, you may not distribute the modified content.
