When applying for funding for the publication of a book, a completed application form must be submitted to the Publishing House. The author/scientific editor fills out the section regarding publication details and planned volume; information on Polish heritage, gender perspectives, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The cost estimate is completed by the Publishing House in accordance with applicable procedures. Application deadlines are set on a case-by-case basis by the relevant UKSW unit (e.g., BBNE).

Decisions regarding the acceptance of a publication are based on scientific quality and the outcome of the peer review; financial considerations do not influence the editorial decision.
