Scientific Council

The Scientific Council is an advisory body to the Publishing House. It operates in accordance with the Rector’s directives and the Publishing House’s regulations. Its role is to support the Publishing House in the process of:

  • ensuring the academic quality of publications,
  • providing opinions on activities related to the peer review process and publishing policy,
  • upholding the academic standards of UKSW publications,
  • supporting the development of series and editorial standards,
  • providing opinions on selected projects in situations requiring consultation.

UKSW Rector’s Order No. 47/2020 setting out the rules for the peer review of publications and the role of the Council in this process.

  • Rev. Prof. Mieczysław Ozorowski – Faculty of Family Studies;
  • Prof. Jacek Błeszyński, PhD – Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences;
  • Anna Szczepan-Wojnarska, PhD, university professor – Faculty of Humanities;
