The internationalization of UKSW Scientific Publishing House is understood as the development of publishing and distribution cooperation and the application of standards that cover the disclosure and use of publications in the context of scientific oversight. We publish publications in Polish, developing an international component in three areas:

Publishing and distribution cooperation

  • Regarding publications: Wolters Kluwer Polska sp. z o. o.;
  • The publishing house collaborates with external partners, including international ones;
  • Distribution: Ars Polona;
  • Content dissemination: International databases and repositories – Partners.

Publishing Standards Supporting International Visibility

The Publishing House implements solutions that facilitate the identification and citation of publications, as well as their cataloging in library and research circulation. In particular, it:

  • provides complete bibliographic metadata and consistent publication descriptions,
  • uses publication identifiers (e.g., ISBN for various formats, DOI),
  • clearly defines rights and licensing policies (including for publications made available in the Open Access model),
  • maintains ethical and procedural policies consistent with standards such as COPE,
  • incorporates digital accessibility requirements in publications and materials made available online.

Depending on their profile, journals published on the UKSW Journals platform have:

  • International scientific advisory boards,
  • Involvement of foreign authors and reviewers,
  • Publications in congress languages,
  • Presence in international and regional databases and indexing platforms, including Scopus, DOAJ, Index Copernicus, CEJSH, CEEOL, SciLit, and Google Scholar (depending on the title).
